Registered Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is a therapeutic treatment which aids in muscle relaxation, fascial release, increasing circulation, increase in joint and tissue mobility, and break down of adhesions. Massage can also help with sleep, stress and overall wellbeing.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the belief that each aspect of the foot, hand, ear or face has a meridian line which connects that point to another part of the body.

It is believed these points are the exit points of Chi (energy) in Chinese medicine.

By addressing these points, we may indirectly address the associated area, aiding with the healing process of the entire body.

This treatment focuses an hour on the feet only.**

Testimonials

Cupping

Cupping is a treatment which lifts and separates the fascial system, -- a 3D tissue which connects the entire body together-- allowing for circulation, and deep release of tissues including: muscle, joint, ligaments (etc). Cupping also has a detoxing effect, bringing toxin to the lymph layer of the body, to flush out of the body. Cupping can leave stagnation marks which last up to a week, sometimes longer depending on how long the cups take to finish detoxing in the area.

Gua Sha

Similar to cupping, Gua Sha is a flat piece of smooth stone (most commonly made of jade or rose quartz), which is used to release fascial restriction. Gua Sha is a very gentle 'scraping' technique, and is paired nicely with cupping therapy.

Gua Sha is a great, non-invasive option especially for those who have TMJ issues.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese Medicine treatment where small needles are inserted at certain points of the body to treat different conditions and ailments. Acupuncture uses our bodies meridian pathways — Energy pathways that run throughout our bodies, they connect our organs, circulate Qi and our blood flow.

Acupuncture can help with a variety of health issues, including muscle tension, stress, hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, migraines, and more!

**Acupuncture training through College of Acupuncture and Therapeutics, used as a modality to enhance Massage Treatments and is only claimable through Massage Therapy health coverage if applicable.

Reiki

An energy treatment using the guidance of the body's 'Ki' energy, to help with overall well-being, aids in healing, relaxation, and can help 'release' or 'acknowledge' any withheld emotions/belief systems in the body.

Reiki can have little or no touch, it is non-invasive, and can help relax the body and mind.

**For Reiki Treatment's, Hannah uses Usui Holy Fire III Reiki, with a combination of IET therapy (Integrative Energy Technique), and BodyTalk when needed.
